Just got myself a new EV2 and I find that the hand grip is a little on the "chunky " side.
Now I haven't got the bigest hand in the world but I would say they are a M/large,does any one else find this and has any one had a go at reworking the grip to suit them self.

If so pictures would be great !!!

    Can Be Done :)

    Hi Steve,

Check out the post i am about to upload called HW100 Custom FT,

I modified an EV2 stock to fit a HW100 however when doing so i put a pistol grip in, have a look and see what you think? Its alot more comfortable and was super easy to do, you just need a rasp file and a good selection of sand paper :)

Hmmmm, I must have big hands then as when I used to have an EV2 I found the grip was perfect.

    Hi Steve

Must say may second gun is a modified HW100 check out my picture!
The stock I have fitter is Paul Wilson which I was very pleased with but had to do a little more work to before it fitted perfect.

I like your finger grooves which is going to be my starting point but I find that there is a ridge around the thumb up area which does not quite feel right.

Did you remove any wood from this area as your pictures do not show.

Ps did you see the HW100 for sale about 9 months ago it was fitted to an EV stock and finished in black with a layer of lacquer that was to die for.
I saw it at a shoot at Guisley, it was mint !!!

Like you, i dont consider myself to have huge hands just stumpy fingers, and yes, that sharp little bit in the crook of the thumb and the first finger does seem a little annoying. Once i get to grips with my new rifle i'm going to have a little tweek with it.

If anyone has any tips on methods for doing this i would like to know them as i dont want to ruin an otherwise great stock.

Anyone any idea what sort of finish the EV2 stock is?

It almost feels like a satin laquer. ????
