    Hello old friends:
Just a Little late, but at the end, we can announce the next European Championship 2015 in Spain.
The EFTF webpage is not yet available, but we can't await to give you this information in order to prepare all necessary if you wants to attend this event.
Next year 2015 , we'll held only the EC2015 , so this year the Euskadi Open will not be organized.
The inscription process , as you probably know, is quite different than in the Open. I'll facilitate the criteria and dates early.
Additional information about accommodation and competition program will be facilitate early as well.
At the moment we would like to show you the information as follows:

yes, this comp is the equivalent to the BDO darts and the euro's at western park would be the PDC.... Call it what you like...but it aint the euro's....!

Call it what you like, it's a shoot in a field. But where it is and the make up of the competitors probably gives any title more legitimacy than anything else.

When I first started shooting, I actually did think the Anglo-American was a joint head to head shoot of the USA vs UK...

    Redfearns... Thanks Guy's

Got to agree Rob, my first time competing this year and a very impressive and enjoyable event well organised with all the top 'FT shooters' competing over 2 days, doesn't come any better.:shot:

yes having been involved with western park setting up for the last 6 years..it is the euor's....but I would still like an international committee to take it further and make a true European completion.

Cool. So a 3 day 3 course event then there? Can't see us squeezing those on Europe who attend the europeans and those in the uk that do the euros all in the same event otherwise.

The eftf are probably looking for another host in the future beyond 2015. Nows the time to raise it up with the organising committee if it's wanted for 2016.

Trouble is I can see 3 days of shooting plus practice day causing an issue at Weston with access.

It might be worth keeping an eye on the intake for 2015. 2014 euros had 110 enter. Spain is limiting to 174. So let's say 250? That's like a worlds. 3-4 to a lane. 3 courses. And a plinking range that will need to be a bit wider than we are used to at Weston.

It will be a good wet test for England hosting the worlds mind. Might be a good litmus test for if we are capable of summoning the manpower.

when and where will qualifying take place for the new euros? Will it be run like the worlds...basically make the rule's up as you go along, and will all the target's be mainly reducer's at a 45 degree angle....at 40 yards...cant wait...!

Wrong rules Simon. That was supposed to be the last year of RGB rules. There were a few well over 40 if memory serves me right.

The single, universal and comprehensive set of democratically agreed (and voted in by all RGB's) WFTF rules were to be first used in 2013 at Germany.;)

Our President Andy Kays and the Germans proved this wrong though, rules once again ignored :eek:o

Well this Euros looks like it's team entry getting priority first, so that's 8 PCP and 8 Springer, per country, trying to fit into 170 odd places.

As the BFTA Euros was team qualification for EFTA, then I guess they take interest using that ranking first.

Deadline is 1st of March for teams, which gives those who may or not make teams 10 weeks to sort out travel.

I thought the idea was that the EFTF was going to avoid the issues the WFTF has, but i'm not seeing that from this side.

Perhaps one of the reps on the EFTA can spark up the committee into life.

Does that mean anyone not shooting the Weston Euro's can't attend this one?

I withdrew from the second day of competition and I believe Shaun disqualified himself after the event.

    How the fun continues.

Not being EFTA Sec anymore it was news to me yesterday.

I don't know if anyone from CSFTA apart from Helen and I want to go. I'll ask my region.

I may just skip and go next year. Do the french one this year perhaps.
