Scores are up everyone. Many thanks for all those that made the series so much fun. Apologies that it was an Extreme Extreme but when Mark and i walked the course Bob/Martin had already put out some lanes and we couldn't see a target out past 35 yards. Then we started putting in some full on comedy targets and when we'd finished we noticed on the walk back that the ones we thought were close were actually mostly mini kills:D

    Here's the target stats.

Target Kill size Shape range Position
    1 40 Rabbit 41 Stand
    2 35 Rooster 27 Stand
    3 15 Squirrel 28 Prone
    4 15 Warthog 39 Prone
    5 25 Diamond 34 Prone
    6 20 Bunny 20 Prone
    7 20 Deer 31 Prone
    8 15 Rat 24 Prone
    9 15 Squirrel 12 Prone
    10 15 Elephant 31 Prone
    11 20 Sparrow 18 Prone
    12 20 Mickey M 29 Prone
    13 40 Rook 30 Kneel/Stand
    14 40 Spider Pig 35 Kneel/Stand
    15 35 Lollipop 23 Prone
    16 35 Pony 28 Prone
    17 40 Tower 43 Prone

    25 35 Lion 44 Prone
    26 25 Squirrel 41 Prone

Well done to the Emley team for putting on a great shoot yesterday, challenging and very enjoyable, a personal thanks to Chris Cundy for keeping the pressure on all the way round to the last target!

    how to win

The best way to win the Emley Extreme is to follow Tom's example ..... find a class with the fewest competitors
I'm planning on having a word with Trev to see if he with start a Standing/kneeling spring gun over 65s class to see if I can get a trophy next year.
    :D

Lets have your thoughts on why there are no .22 shooters in NEFTA Steve.........I can see you are biting at the bit to have a go.....:)

I think NEFTA/Emley extreme should introduce an "oddball" class which is anything not a .177 pcp (open) class? Saves Fannying about!

It's actually a Gauntlet/North West idea Tom, the ukahft still separate the boingers & 22s as there's enough in each class to still make it viable. The Midlands adopted the oddball class one or two years ago also.

I didn't know that Mick, I thought they just done .22 at the HFT WORLDS...wherever hence it may originate I think it's the way forward. This me and .22 thing is meant to be a bit of fun, with lashings of irony, but it appears there are some amongst us who really would choose a calibre for an easy 'win'......most peculiar.

I am deeply enamoured with .22 and wouldn't change it for anything. I fekin' well love .22. !!!! :D:D:D

    I counted 8 x 15mm kills
    5 x 20mm
    3 x 25mm

With quite a few being over the recommended range:D
