Given they are a bit bigger than the 40 ml kill, why dont you try hitting thiose at 22 yards standing as there is little chance of you hitting the real ones:D

I`m moving the 6 standers for gp 3 to 17 - 25 yards and placing time lapse camers on them!

My granddad uses them for keeping screws and nuts in them, ive also seen a few of the black powder people using them when cleaning to keep all the small bits in after they've been cleaned.

Got to say i only looked at the pics today, had no I-dea (!) your eyes had fallen out till then.

I am a bit worried really Rob, if you miss another short stander this season I am expecting the next set of photos to end with your head exploading:D

I bet however if you just stuck a load of empty tins on e-bay advertised as small storage tins someone would buy them!

I use them for pistol practise!

I know this is straying a bit from your pellet tin question Rob and sorry but NJR100s post on standing shots has just reminded me....I shot the NEFTA hunter at Hull last year and went round with Kieran not long after his 2x clear round win at the worlds. Our first lane was a gimmi, a ten yard stander with a full kill under some hay bails....Kieran being Kieran insisted on going first so I said" serves you right if you miss now" to his reply "oh shut up" followed by DINK and fits of laughter from myself....believe me I didn't keep quiet about that one.
Later on though he got his own back by letting me take a kneeler/stander,prone and so getting a doughnut:rolleyes:....payback ? i still can't be sure:D:D:D

Right sorry back to pellet tin uses:);)

I keep a few and pad them out for storing weighed up batches of pellets, etc and the rest I just throw down the range and blow the crap out of before chucking them in the recycling:D:D

Also keep one spare one that I bung all the bits in that get left over when I service Stephs Steyr :D:D But don't tell her that :p:p

ive seen many uses for them, some use them as ashtrays, a friend of mine at work makes models like airfix kits and hes always asking me for my empties. being a mechanic they come in very handy for me to put nuts and bolts in or my favourite use is to put them at 50yds and stand and deliver! :D
