Thanks to the Emley crew, Have to say I really liked that course, & that wind was a bit tricky at times! :)
Well done to the winners, & cheers to my shooting partners, for some nice banter.

    Hi Gaz

Trev did the hard work on lanes, Chris was the course architect so all blame goes to him, with Gordon heavily assisting him.

    Chris target maintenance and trophies.

I was just the mule and heavy shifting.

Mark amd Kieron booking in which is the brains department.

We hoped you’d all enjoy it. Seems that you did including the wind Gods.

No worries Mike...i knew the 2 Monkeys would look after you. Glad you enjoyed your first HFT comp mate. I think it's a good idea if shooters state its their first shoot as those booking in can then try and get them with an experienced good egg. Thanks to Jean (ST) Greatrex for taking Shirley around on the day.....that's what the Spirit of HFT is about.

liam .....or is it laim:);) has already covered this a bit.

Thanks to our FT team for the help with setting the lanes....what a team!!
Thanks to Si Battye for helping me fettle the targets.
Thanks to Liam and Gordon for the course setting expertise.
Thanks to Kieran and Mark for the booking in/collating scores and a bit of course vetting.
Thanks to all those that came off the course with smiling faces despite the tricksy wind.:)

Had a small misunderstanding once the nose bleed had subsided after the drive up there.

The lady looked confused when I asked for a "bacon roll", apparently it's a "cob". It was explained to me, "If you ask for a sausage roll what do you get?" o_O:D

You say the kindest things Chris! Glad you've stopped yelling my name across the car park though!!!!!

It was an excellent course and thanks to Vanty and Shirley for the company. Always happy to help others as I can still remember my first comp many, many years ago and how terrified I was!! Shirley took it all in her stride and Simon was on hand with some helpful advice too.

Well done to all the winners. Good results in that tricky wind.

Well done to the course setters/assistants/admin bods - everything ran very smoothly.

Now that we're back in the zone, looking forward to another year of Nationals and just hope my scores keep improving!!!

    See you all at Misfits.
