Top course once again, hope its not another 2 years till i get to shoot his top Ft course again.

We had a great laugh all the way round, well worth the 360+ miles of driving just to see Peter miss 3 plates completely before twigging his windage may be out haha. It only took me till the kneelers!

Thanks to all that put on a great day.

    hi chaps,

well, another great day and well worth the effort put in planning and building the course, its great to see so many people enjoying themselves. I think we had over 80 shooters today.

Thanks to everyone who helped us set up and take down and to all those who came along, especially the chaps from Wales, always a pleasure to have you visit our ground.

It wasnt quite a windy as we have seen in previous years, but with the constant change of direction it certainly keeps you on your toes 100% of the time.

Lets not forget the help we had from Tony, Ced and Kev and of course Sam, super stars and we couldn't do without you.

Look foward to seeing you at the Greyhound next week.

On behalf of the Dowry Hill team,

Cheers (I actually got my camera out today so I will try and get the images up on here tomorrow)

    Chris

I'm trying to work out what the secret is to MFTA's success. 80 at a winter league is pretty impressive.

    Hi Rob,

no real secret, we just have a good time, nice and relaxed as a wl should be. We also have some very good grounds and course builders who put in a lot of effort to make the shoots as challenging as possible for the top lads but fun and encouraging for the newer, less able shooters. We do tend to treat our winter season as a bit of a breeding ground for new blood.

Of course, we are not unique, other regions have great shoots and great results too, but I think the fact that we are in the midlands helps a lot!

We are very luck to have so many enthusiastic ans talented shooters among us - but not so good for you other regions when it come to the Inter Regionals!!!!! :D:D

Great to see the visitors at our shoots though, means a lot to see you chaps,

    Cheers

    Chris
