Double Cone Compensator

    Has anyone any experience of using one of these? Are they any good?

    Yes just fitted on the other day POI dropped and had to compensate 15 clicks or there about didn't have time to mess about tried short ranges quickly and they were higher so on with the old stripper till I have more time. Has anyone else had same outcome????

    No problems with mine at all and no change in POI on or off !

    No difference

    I have just replaced a huge chunk of Ali of the front of mine for a twin cone stripper,nothing changed.

    No change at all with my steyr either. Grouping is the same but reduces a tiny bit of 'flip' to nothing.

    Groups stay the same, but noticeably introduces flip without it.

    Point to note though, the Steyr barrel crown is recessed, so when fitted, the first cone is about 4mm from the actual crown, when fitting to a n other barrel you may have to play with the positioning.

    More recoil without, but mine picks up dirt/lead dust and seems to cause fliers, so the cones are out.
