A great finish to a great series. Snow, rain, freezing howling winds and plenty of mud couldn't stop Alex Larkin sealing the series title. For those of us who braved the weather found a great course set out by Greg and his team with the winds making it an even greater challenge.

It has been a great series again i shall certainly be doing it again next year.

The standard of courses has improved with the newer venues gaining more experience and Kibby putting some crackers on! The winter weather often increases the difficulty which all helps to make it a good challenge.

Thanks to everyone involved and well done to all the winners.

    Simon.

    Well that's another season done:eek:
I would like to thank Dave,Matt and Michelle for all the hard work they put in in helping make the series run smoothly. I wouldn't be able to do it without them.
Also thanks to Daystate for the rifle and to Solware for coming on board with some sponsorship towards this years Jackets. And finally thanks to every single one of you that gave up your Sundays to come and shoot the series. Hope to see you all next year.

A most enjoyable day in some very challenging condiditons!

Thanks to Greg and all of the organising team for a cracking shoot yesterday. The great course layout was certainly made even more challenging than normal. Those of you shooting the national series can look forward to the Kibworth round for sure!

Once again, it was great to once again meet up with fellow shooters and just generally have an enjoyable day. Those who managed to score above the 50 mark must have a special relationship with the wind gods I reckon. I am still devastated not to have acheived an extra point for number 5 target being pulled. There again, 45 doesn't sound much different to 44 so who gives a toss?

It was also great to see Alex Larkin winning a hard fought and close battle at the top, and to finish his series win off with a 53 on such a horrendous day was very fitting.

Anyway, I have once again enjoyed this years series and will see you all again next year. Good luck to you all for both the Nationals and World Championships.

    Andy "Frank" Mac.
