Yep enjoyed this one a lot. And at least the wind turned up for the morning ;)

Anyone got any scores for springer? Saw ozzy did a 47, he looked on form and think that would have happened either session.

Special thanks to Jeremy, Alan, Gary and ALL the East Devon helpers who put out the course and marshalled today. Thanks also to Paul Salmon who looked after the stats desk all day. :)

A good course with some different angles and definitely the best GP course held at East Devon so far.

    Top shooting James, well done!

A thanks to all at East Devon club for a great day of shooting. As far as I am away only 1 whistle in the afternoon, is that the least fopr a GP so far this year?

A Thanks to Robert Long and Jonathon Noon for being great partners yesterday as well. A good bit of banter going on. Had some good targets and some 'what the hell happen there' targets as well. Walked off with a 32.

High note of the day knocking over all the kneeling shots from the standing position ( not sure now at times  ). Low point only hitting 2 of the true standers. Go figure that one :eek:o

    Propper gp

Well done to Jeremy and the east Devon crew for yesterdays Gp.

Changes to the course worked well, no 15ml up trees in open wind :), sensible but tricky disaplines and I am sure next years event will be likewise.
Great food, zero range well stocked with marked cards.
Only point to take on baord, one which I over heard I stress, was the Sillys could have done with being in the woods, as it was very exposed in the field.

Conditions were perfect for Am, good amount of wind which made you work for every target, loads on the more exposed targets, off plate despite my Airstripper!
Then again it was inside edge when back in the thick woods! (While others were still out;))

No dought about it Pm sessionhad the far easier session wind wise, even the butterflies could take off. Am even the planes could not take off it were that windy :p

Cant say I have ever seen East Devon so windy
Thats not because of my shooting partner either, least in Simon Francis lol:D Good company from the Ratinator and Gentleman John Chopping who put in another fine display of shooting witht he old 100 series.

Top shooting again on the win from El Capitano:)

Top course Jezzer, just a pity I didn't get a bit more time as the PM session had already started when I arrived after a nightmare journey from London. I, managed to run down to the bottom end of the course where there was a free lane and a very kind Mr Dave Robinson paired up with me...thanks Dave. Definitely the best course at East Devon. Well done to James O and Nick Murphy for their respective wins.
