    Daystate Pulsar.

Just not worth the asking price of £1800. Not exactly good looking either.:(

Overpriced and ugly as f*ck. Coupled with the legendary reliability of modern non mechanical Daystates and the fact that your 1800quid gun will be worth about half that once you step out the shop it's another pointless big money mistake for any potential purchaser. Make it mechanical, make it reliable, make it half the price and make it look a little less like something an eight year old drew and it may sell.....

Prob look good if it was gangs of kids marauding around an estate playing havoc, with its assault rifle looks... Not sure about that pistol grip not exactly what i would want for shooting at targets of any description

At last! An air rifle that has the cocking lever by my ear 2 ft back from the grip! I've always thought that was the best place for it. Even better, lets put the screen under your chin for that quick reference ease.

Loving the way the safety indicator is actually completely out of view.

General wisdom has the rear of a scope roughly inline with the pistol grip. But hey, that's obviously not how it should be.

It looks like they came up with all the best bits from rifle design, and built this from what they had left over.

Strange design aesthetic but clearly designed for the US market.

Isn't this just another Daystate Limited Edition,

released prior to its actual launch date of 01/04/2105 ?

To para phrase the Daystate launch there will be a 200 limited edition run with some added bits that wont be in the production run. They are identifying them with the letters OS which stands for Oro Series ( Gold Series ) in high grade walnut stocks . Will be at Stoneleigh BS Show in a couple of weeks!

    Ugly, overpriced.

Every time I speak to a DS owner they say " just got it back from them, shoots spot on now "

5 minutes later and... " it's not right, gonna have to phone em up to get it sorted "

    Balancing statement -
Just have to say I have two Daystates a Plati and an Airwolf CDT - Neither have ever been back to the factory from me or the previous owners (Daystate records) one is 2009 and the other 2011. They both shoot like a dream - indeed the air wolf has just displaced my LSR and precision target comp rifle - a custom HW100 - as it is just so much easier to group standing at 20 and 50m's.

I suppose I have been lucky and admit I have not owned either for years; but as the original poster my intent was to intro the new gun, (even though 18wheeler beat me to it!) not start a Daystate quality discussion. I will be at the Stoneleigh BS Show and hope to handle the "pulsar" it may even look better in the flesh!
Also credit where credit is due, Daysate have produced some of the most beautiful guns of the modern era, stock quality and visual appeal have been top rate, I among many drooled at the Wolverine Forester at Weston!
Even they appear to be human and have not quite hit that high standard re looks this time round.
