For anyone finding the Daystate MK4 cheek piece to low on the stocks, Paul Wilson fits an adjustable one for approx £70.

    Raised Cheek Piece

Neil (U.K.) Price has just done one on my HW100 TH.

    A very nice job.

    Neat cut,
    twin brass (?) riser posts,
polishsed ali (?) clamps with 2mm allen key grubs to lock it off.

    Less than £50.

    No, no pics,
Just imagine a once quiet piece of slick Germanic engineering, still slick but shorter and not so quiet now,
the cracking tiger striped walnut sporter stock replaced with an ugly slab of beautiful walnut, modified to a more practical shape, and the addition of a small piece of carbon fibre, by a top craftsman.

Hi all, I have just got myself a MK4s for HFT and Hunting, after I fitted higher mounts so I can get the mag in and out, the cheek piece is too low.
I was thinking of trying a MK3-FT-R stock, do they fit with out any alterations?

I was thinking of having the cheek piece risen but want have it to practice for the worlds so the couple of weeks that Custom stocks or Mr Wilson would have it for is a no no. Does anyone have Mick French's number by any chance, he only lives a few miles away and hopefully would have it done pretty sharpish.

    Regards, Mark

    Hi Mark

I sent my stock to Paul Wilson on a Monday morning and he called me Tuesday afternoon to say it was done. It was back on my gun on Thursday! You wont need to be without it for 2 weeks. Unless he's got very busy, of course.

As Peter said Paul can turn it around in a day or so, and not sure if Mick fits adjusters.

I know this is going to sound like a stupid question and feel free to laugh, BUT ... I'd had a look around and I can't find a web site for Paul Wilson. Does he have one, and if not is he on this forum so I can PM him??

Alternatively, Paul if you are reading this, can you PM me.

    Thanks
