Im having a go at making my own custom gun stock.
Started it today and hopefully get it ready for the nefta classic in 10 weeks.
I have got the template cut and sorted, the stock blank mark ready to router, drill then cut.
So that will be done on monday then just need to shape.
    Will keep photo updates.
Will put photos up later on today.
    Yours gav

    Its for my ev2 mk4.
Hopefully i have worked out the sizes right lol.
Was going to go for laminate but thought as its my first if i made a mistake its all for the bin, so its out of tulip wood so i can fill any mistake and then sent to hydrographics at york so get finished.

    Up date on the stock.

Now just need to do the grove for the air cylinder, fixing hole and posts. Hope fully get it done tonite.

Nothing as my boss let me have it from work.
So its only costing me to get it painted by hydrographics.

    Looks good Gav

From your pencil marks on the stock with the action offered up to it, it looks like the cheek piece could do with coming back a tad.

btw - my hook and carrier will add about 50mm to the length of pull, so you might want to factor that into the overall length of the stock.

Looks awesome though, the inletting looks spot on.

If it was me, I'd consider maybe fitting a slim aluminium spacer between the stock and the butt hook (because it'll look better). So I'd go for 50mm + whatever spacer width you go for.
