CSFTA Winter League Round 6: North Oxon

Well the Winter Season is now over with the last round shot today at Weston Woods.

A course that proved tricky in the windy conditions and in areas that I have never shot at before. With most of us hoping the rain would hold off till at least all the shooting had been done, however mother nature decided, that with only a couple of shooting pairs left near the end, to open the rain tap  and it was not a shower.

A course that had interesting bits of windage from nothing to loads of kills worth, with it also coming from left and right on the same lane.

So from me congratulations to all those who set the course out, those that competed and finally Alan who has got the final results up on the CSFTA website quickly for all of us to see how we did.

    Results are up here

Showdown next and I hope the weather improves slightly.

Yep, a really testing but enjoyable course.

Well done to Tim, James and I had a nip at him today, but he was too far ahead. In the end just 7 targets covered the top 5 shooters of the season. Awesome.

Well done also to Steve Privett for seeing off the North Oxon boys in A, and to you Andy for winning B. Justin was unluckly to lose C grade to Steve's return.

Comisserations to North Oxon for 2nd place, and congrats to Wendover for 3rd. The queue is going to be quite long for trying to displace Bisley off the top slot next year.

Roll on for the showdown, as ever I'm sure Andy will put on a top course.

Thanks to everyone for a great season, and for all the efforts made to make it so.

Well Rob its more of a club effort than just me :D . We made a start last weekend and have got 2 of the 3 courses partly ready.

The intention is to put out 3 intersting and balanced courses using the terrain.
