You can find directions to our club on our web site at www.sbftc.co.ukwe will have some hot & cold food on the day ( burgers + cake ), and will supply tea and coffee, could shooter's attending try to car share as we have only limited parking. The lane to the site will be sign posted as it can be easy to miss. Looking forward to hosting our first winter league, see you all on the 30th,
Also should be on the Shooting-the-Breeze Airgun Club Map
Will try and get down with H the day before to lend a hand as well
Cake and even biscuits will be supplied... I will be slaving over a hot stove to make these so I expect everyone to have some and obviously then tell me how yummy they all are..... my cooking abilities are fairly safe to trust.... well have cooked for Rob several times and he is still standing.......
Am looking forward to seeing everyone... No excuses this is our first chance hosting the WL at these grounds so let us show off all the hard work that has gone in to getting the range ready - the credit goes to the boys on that one... I will only take credit for the cakes!!!! My god I hope they turn out ok...... and yes Mick I am doing a date and walnut cake just for you.....
Am open to other requests... within reason.... for cakes that is !!! - just thought I would clear that up for any of you with a not so clean mind.... Mick... lol
Anyway see you all at Christchurch this Sunday then all get rested for the best club shoot on the 30th - Southampton Bucc's - yay
There will be a group from the Island there not to sure how many at the moment. If 5 then 1 car, if I can get upto 8 interested then it will be 2 cars.
Looking forward to shooting somewhere different.
In the Woods
What time will the course be open, about 9.30am?
Looks a good drive for Me, wont have to leave until 6am for this one? Not sure who if any will be with me again?
One thing though, I will be in Woody Whooooping form come the 30th
Is it an All woods course?
Any cake with Jam and Cream please. Twice.
I am looking forward to the challenge buddy, it will be good fun!
Which gun will you be using 'REV' or 'BEV', just a suggestion maybe you could use 'BEV'
Top stuff guys, see you there
Count me in Simon. looking forward to the shoot and the lay in, treacle tart and cream for me please.
Bev is fine, seems to be a Scope problem? Will be sorting tomorrow either with a re set up Ultra, or a new comp series!
Either way Welsh Whooping for you on the way
Really pleased to see lots of you intending to come to our ground.....
Yep woodland course, with some challenging targets..... hope you will all enjoy it... Bring your camera's as I want to see lots of pics taken.....
Am working on what cakes to do.... all suggestions so far have been noted.... treacle tart, anything with cream.... I shall do my best....
I am particularly excited as will be debuting with new toy... Thank you Rob for letting me "borrow" your walther xxx
The ground should be open about 7.30, so we can get things set up, I should be there around 7, if the gate is open come on up. looks like we'll have to open a tea room if Helen make's many more cake's, well done girl ! See you all on the day.
The Three Taffers
Hope to arrive around 9- 9.30 with Master Cook and Walther Arms Dealer in tow.
Hope weather stays dry?
Ok to set camera up on tripod + self timer?
Cool Mick, we hope to be up early as Helen and I need to check our ranges we're doing tonight and tomorrow... i'll probably try and bring some knockdown/knockups that we can bang in alongside our tape measure
Well if the current interest in the shoot stays the same then there will be 8 from the Island coming over arriving about 8-45 as its the shortest mainland journey for us.
Weather is looking cloudy and cold (from BBC) and metcheck light winds with a mixrture of sun and clouds Temp around 5 degC .
Congratulations to Buccaneers for a great shoot, plenty of downhill target practice . Enough wind to make you think either inside or outside kill at times as well as which side.
On hindsight think I should have given more down the middle that I did. Last I heard the highest was a 37 but still a few to shoot round when I left.
Roll on next week for Bisley before the break of a few weekends before the last round.
Very good feeback for the Buccs. Top was 38 shared by a few, and some good drubbing by the B graders who took quite a few scalps... put it this way, if you were under 35, you wouldn't make the top 3 in B!
Will write up some waffle after i've sorted the pics...
Thanks to all the members from Buccaneers, great shoot today. nice burgers and really nice cakes!
Good course, I had a bit of a mare on the last few lanes - most longer shots at that stage were going low - I guess it s all part of the learning curve.
Thanks to Geoff and Simon, it was good to shoot the course with you.
Looking forward to Bisley next week, see you there.
Watch your waist line with all those cake's RIVER DANCE BOY!!!!!!!
Many thanks for your concern Andy.
But with all this dancing I am looking really fit, it's you guys that I am worried about!
