And you are believing the weather forecast. Remember what the weather was last year when we shot at Bisley . I had to give up after 4 lanes due to the flooding of the scope in the bell and eye pieces. Took days to dry the rifle and clothes etc.
I remember, i told steve that when they had the pirate on the standers i aimed for what i thought was the kill, turnout to be his face!
He must have peeked at my excuse book? Heard today Woody has "dropped" the ev2 Now just cause you had a whooping sunday and your about to loose the decider this Sunday, there was no need for that. I do however concure it is a good reason for missing with an EV2 He could start his own thread? So, will he be trying to beat me with the old styer? Bear in mind he could not even beat my NJR with the styer all summer No, dought it. Is it all a ruse and he is trying to lull me into false sense of "i got this in the bag", bit like him sunday after i double dinkled lane 2! Or, is it just some old wives tale to get his hands on something MUCH MEGA better? Ok, as i like the chappie you can use the REV Sunday, all you had to do was ask
Not looking good.40% chance of light rain http://www.lmra.co.uk/content/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=8
No drips Looks better now on Bbc forcast. 11 degrees = shorts 20mph+ wind = Shorts for breeze detection! There will be a stewards enquiry if like Buccs, it only blows when its my turn to shoot and then when Woody sits it goes still
Not shot Bisley in windy windy conditiuons. Presume the density of the woods mean (unlike yesterdays practise session) that lottery shooting in high winds and aiming off plate for most kills is not to be expected?
Erm, dunno, it's variable down there... never really shot it in big wind, last time it was bad weather the rain was the problem... couldnt see a 15yd target, and i was stuck on 40x... will be fun im sure...
Well it seems no forecast is the same I have looked and managed to get 10-15mph wind gusts to 30 and dry The same wind but showery 20mph winds with gusts to 40 and showery I do care about the wind but if it rains like last year then I am bringing a kayak and shootng from that
Dunno about fodder... the 9km resolution forcast is giving a damp start pre kickoff, with 0.1mm/hour at the end... so drizzle at worst...
There is a couple of places to get hot food on campus. Jennys bar for burgers and big breakfast baguettes also london middlesex for possibly plated food. There will be sausages rolls, cheese, ham and cucumber sandwiches, possibly cakes and donuts just for the peckish. Tea and coffee always available. Hopeing to hit a carvery or pub lunch after. loopy
