CSFTA Winter League Round 5: Wendover

Thanks to the Wendover boys for a really good course. Don't think there was many targets that didn't have you going "hmm" when you looked at them. They also managed to dial in some very tricky and flicky wind that had me staring at a stubbornly standing plate quite a few times too many.

Well done to Dave Hollingdale for his 38, to Steve Privett for his 37. Think it's going to be a tall order to knock Steve off the top spot in the last round, especially considering his solid form this season.

See you at North Oxon's home ground for the last round. (Please make it a dry one :D)

Well done to everyone that shot, and Wendover for the course, I wasn't up for that at all today I'm afraid

As soon as I get the scores I'll put them up, if anyone knows who has them let me know.

    Alan.

    However you like, Lyn.

If you leave the cards down the club i will collect them Wednesday, or you can email them if you like.

I need name, grade, club and BFTA number, as well as their score of course.

    Cheers,

    Alan.

He finished Steve, according to him on a 38... but don't worry, visitor's scores are included on the league (check out http://csfta.co.uk/results/ftscores.htm round 3, when bobby and dave did the same trick)

So well done on another 100%... think you might have this one in the bag ;)

A day of good and bad for the Isle of Wight lot.
Me, a good day considering I had not picked the rifle up since Christchurch
Clive, best day ever as shot his highest ever score (17)
Melv, bad day hit plate a few times managed to get 2 turns out of the turret and retired with 4 lanes left after scoring nothing at all.

Course wise enjoyed it guessing the wind was fun. I particularly liked the target on top of the scaffold pole. You missed or hit it as I saw no marks on the faceplate (well I think there was about 10mm of faceplate round the kill  )

See you all at N Oxen in 3 weeks time.

    Cheers Alan.

That's not tight enough really is it  ;) ... I give Steve .95% with a score dropped for both of us, and we're level on the Gary Wells.

    Roll on N.Oxon.

I can only see the 1st 4 rounds of results.

I think it might be me though as I saw all the result at 5am at home but not here at work.

I had the same problem, but another machine at work shows it fine, so it must be a cache thing... clearing mine solved it.

Less than .2% between us. Very close. What happens if theres a tie for the Gary Wells.
