CSFTA Winter League @ Bisley: Train hard, fight easy

Well it seems despite only having 2 rounds in the past 2 months, some have been making good use of their spare time. Bisley saw many dusting off their FT kit to put in their first appearance for a while.

A strong breeze combined with a long course saw Bisley being even more tricky than usual, but I was nice to see a range of grades master the course with AA-C grades making the top 10, demonstrating that the CSFTA is no slouch and could be a sleeping giant at the inter-regionals. With another 4 rounds and the region's showdown to squeeze in before then, the team should be well up to competition speed by then.

Many eyes were on North Oxon after their early lead from Round 1, but although Tim Goodhall put in a strong performance with 34 ex 40, Bisley's James Woodhead was just ahead with 36, and with good scores from the rest of the Bisley team they took the 2nd round and now lay equal top.

Scores are up here and there's a pic thread here
