Massive thanks to Andy Slade and his crew for an excellent course.
It was good to see Holly again and swap stories about "back in the day" , and listen to some of his "film flam".
Also a big thank you to Andy Winch my shooting partner and congratulations to Justin on some top shooting .
    :)

Many thanks Newbury - blue skies, sunshine and wind which was probably always going in the same direction way up above at the clouds level :)
Great course - each lane provided a tough one and sometimes not quite so tough (always missable .. drat) so something for everyone. Congrats Justin!

I miss my 4x4 :-( No chance to get up the hill boo hoo

It was a pleasure to shoot with you Cliff. A course and wind that made you work for it. My shot of the day was the long kneeler at the top of the course, took the standing and knocked both down. Missed 3 positionals in total and 1 reducer (no 34 :eek:o ) along with 5 other targets so pleased with a 31.

Also gave me bragging right on the way home as one more than Holly :D

Like the mixing up of shooting partners.

Top score was 35 by yourself when I left but what was Justins score?

Roll on two weeks and see you at N Oxon.

Thanks to the Newbury crew for a top course. One that kept you thinking... deceptive wind on lane 1, looked like edge, but took 2 kills... that seemed to be the par until the course turned slowly into the wind, the 45 and 54? which I took on opposite edges... the long one through the bushes, the heat haze was the only clue... up the top it was left, right, straight and loads...

Sorry for the stoppage, looked like a hit central, but must have been a split. I had 31 long, shot it as such, missed for wind (straight)... shot it again on 57 and hit level (as before)... but me and Mick K were a consistent 3 yards apart.

Cheers to Garry for the company around the course.

Scores are up here and i'll make Alan aware for the website.

Remember we want a nice strong team for the inters, which will be a bit of travel, but with the region looking strong, it will be worth it.

Well done Justin on the win... seems like all the region can do is hang on to his coat tails. Top score 3/4 shoots...!
