    CSFTA Round 2 at Newbury

Well, it's been a while since the last one, but it seems that Tim Roscoe has been keeping busy judging by his grade busting 38 ex 40, two targets ahead of the nearest shooter who was two grades above.

Newbury was in a fickle mood today, cold but sunny and crisp, but with a flicking wind that took more than many estimated, or sometimes a lot less. Andy and Geoff and the rest of the crew had worked tirelessly, once again, to provide a challenging course, and that's what we got even without the wind. Many thanks to all who helped out.

For those that can bear to look, Alan has already got the scores up on the csfta website.

Well done all, see you at our place next weekend for some fun with the Christchurch breeze. I expect there may not be hot food, perhaps cold stuff, but should be at least some warm drinks in the new clubhouse.

    See you there! :)

Might also mention Rich Chasemore who got his gun and numbers out of the cupboard this morning after at least a year of no use, and put a 34 in... pretty impressive for him and the kit...

Awww your so nice ;-) Must say didnt even add a click, popped some of my old ammo in and off she went, my only problem was using the side wheel thingy!!!!! Nice to be out in the woods, Geoff and Dave were great partners for the shoot round.

Pessimist - there will be some food even if I have to cook it myself - but then no-one would eat it

    Regards

Fickle indeed the wind was. Even the great big red fag at the top did not help. How can the flag be blowing out to the right but the pellet still go straight  .

Enjoyed the shoot, rifle performed will man pulling trigger not so well. Need to find a better pair of shoes/boots to wear that allow the anlke to move to get the foot flat on floor so that I can get a stable position for the down hill shots :p

See you this weekend, hope you have the wind gods pleased Rob :D

    Oh no Rob

    Rob,

Dont fall into Holly's trap you should never say the word excuses in front of him that can be resolved.

He will hound you like hell once he reads that. I know he's 67(Ithought he was older) but his senses are most probably going like mad now knowing you haave excuses for not shooting to well on Sunday.

Im just awaiting a reply from the umm man himself haahaa...
