I would like to thank all those who travelled over to the first round.

A few new faces and we hope that it is the start of a good Season. Would have preferred a slight bit more wind but a top score of 39 I heard. I am sure that the results will be up by the morning.

She you at Bisley in a months time.

    Hi Andy

An enjoyable shoot, thanks for setting it up, worth the trip over the water.

Regards to Andy, Melvyn and the other the Carisbrooke members who put in the effort as well

    Rob

But where was Holly? Was R1 scheduled on purpose to be prior to him taking up residence??

    Quick note re the scores...

The new team setup is taking me time to sort out as I haven't prepared any spreadsheet, individual scores should be up tonight, teams may take until tomorrow.

    Alan.

Thanks to the guys at Carrisbrooke today.
This was our first CSFTA winter league, after moving house from SEFTA. Getting on the ferry at 7:00am was a harsh start, but bumping into Cliffy soon got the day going well. It was good to see familar faces from the GP circuit too.
The day finished with a score to help forget my pain of the Euro weather at Westons Park and the good woman knocked in her best score too. Off to the Essex50 next Sunday, but looking forward to Round 2.

The only thing missing. A certain D Hollingdale. But the peace and quiet won't last on the IOW :D

    Alex n Judit.

Thanks Alan (as always!) - the Results page link needs adding but the page is easy to guess based on last year :)

For those that may have any interest these are the distances for the course which I measured after the event.
This misses and splits is just the number of marks on the faceplate so splits 'may' have knocked the targets down are included.

    Lane Pos - Distance(yds) - Misses/Splits
    1 Stand - 24, 38 - 7, 17
    2 Free - 36, 48 - 4, 13
    3 Free - 37, 46 - 6, 14
    4 Free - 54, 35 - 14, 3
    5 Free - 45, 53 - 5, 14
    6 Free - 36, 45 - 3, 7
    7 Free - 43, 55 - 7, 15
    8 Kneel - 37, 41 - 13, 17
    9 Free - 31[25], 52 - 5, 6
    10 Free - 43, 38 - 5, 5
    11 Free - 30[25], 45 - 6, 4
    12 Free - 35, 51 - 3, 9
    13 Free - 40, 24[15] - 4, 13
    14 Free - 55, 45 - 14, 9
    15 Free - 44, 25[25] - 9, 6
    16 Kneel - 15, 40 - 5, 13
    17 Free - 54, 39 - 10, 5
    18 Stand - 41, 20 - 19, 15
    19 Free - 26[25], 50 - 5, 12
    20 Free - 45, 20[15] - 8, 12
    Course average - 40yds
