Many thanks to Wendover for hosting the 5th round of the CSFTA FT Winter League. A tricky day and a testing course but the hot food and drink, and the warm welcome put a smile on everyone's faces.
Nice to see Barry McGraw receive a lifetime achievement award. As Terry Doe summed up; if you're shooting Ft today then you're shooting with one of the early developments Barry pioneered.

Congratulations to Justin Wood for top score of 36 ex 40 which helped Bisley 1 be the first team to stop Frobury's run... but they need not worry as they're still top of the table.

All to play for now at Newbury as scores may be dropped or shooters complete their minimum to count.

    It's not over yet.

It was a great days shooting, wind, rain, sunshine and cloud.
Never been before but if the weather is like that most days then no wonder my head was done in.

Windicator gave no clue, was told by my shooting partner that mine was going one way and the the shooter on the previous lane was going other way. Many a 'give it inside edge' to either go opposite way or further the other way. Targets on the same lane had different winds. I missed about 6 sub 35yd targets because it blew more the closer in.

Well done to Wendover Wolves for hosting what I believe is their first offical FT comp at Hampden brickyard woods.
And Barry is a top class bloke that certainly deserved getting an award for his input into the club and the Air gun target world.

Glad you guys enjoyed it .... sorry about the carpark ... the poor old girls taken a hammering of late

oddly enough there seems to be a lot of rear wheel drive cars on the FT circuit

Proper chuffed for basil Mac ..... he never really lets on about what he’s been pretty pivotal in over the years .... I only told terry what we were doing and why .... said he wouldn’t miss out on seeing his old mukka for the world ... proper gent

Barry studies the manual to the Archant Maybach staff wagon while Terry explains it can be guided by voice alone into a parking space but requires a dozen blokes to push it out of one...
