Thanks to all at Cross Guns for a good course today (13/12/09) - ( it was a toughy with that wind !)

I did hear it said that the course was too hard, I tend to look at it from the point of view of, it was me that was not good enough for the course and conditions, and not the the course or conditions were to hard.

Still, Thanks lads I thought it was OK. John Waterfield

My thanks also to Cross Guns and to Tony Cook.

I thought it was the wind that was tricky. :)

    Thanks the Cross Guns lads.

Today I shot my worst ever score, but the course and weather was the same for everyone shooting so no one can blame either. It's just today I wasn't good enough, no problem theres always the next one...

Thanks to TC, Ryan and Cross Guns for what must be the most challenging so far.
Personally i dont think it was too hard after all a foreign visitor only missed two, one of which he shot wrong target so may have been 1 down!
Need to sort the men from the boys which it did.

Firstly well done Ryan and his team at Cross Guns FTC and may I say too what a cracking course they set out at a gorgeous venue! Personally i'd like to say Ryan deserves every support with his venture and would like to ask where possible the the region and the membership support him! Also well done Andras with his 28 as top score of the day.

Also as for the moans about the course being too hard, it was a challenging course yes, more so because of the wind which cannot be controlled, however it was the same course that everyone shot, and nothing looked to me to be illegal, everything looked fair so any moans personally arn't justified (IMHO).

well done Ryan and the crew

A tough course, yes, but thoroughly enjoyable - the wind certainly played its part.

The course was not too tough, it weas me that did not beat it

I had the pleasure of shooting the course with Ryan today, and he found it tougher than most having set it out and and got it in withonly a couple of volunteers. I think it's a great course set out over quite a small area (except for that damn big field!)
    Cheers Ryan
