Countryman Fairs Wed Eve Shoot 16

Tonight saw most people trying to decide if it was better to shoot early in the wind or take a chance later on in the rain. Most shot early and suffered in the wind, which unusually at MAD was changing all the time in strength and direction.
Top shooting on the night from Doppa to shoot round in 57, even though he could hardly walk, but Gary took the money, thanks to his excessive handicap.

    Name Score Handicap Total
    1 Gary Chillingworth 53 5 58
    2 Richard Woods 57 0 57

    5 Jean Greatrex 47 8 55
    6 Martyn Goodsall 55 0 55
    7 Simon Dixon 52 3 55
    8 Simon Edwards 45 10 55
    9 Barry Smith 55 0 55
    10 Ray Hampton 53 1 54
    11 Ian Bainbridge 47 7 54

    Wed shoot

Well done to Gary on his win and to Dop on his 57 any chance I can have some lessons? I have clearly lost the ability to shoot.
Even if I had shot later with no wind my score would still have been rubbish.
Time to strip the Steyr clean out all the wood bark pull through the barrel ect and get back on track for the uks I hope.

    Darren.

    Thanks Darren

I don't remember there being no wind, I gave the 40 yard up the tree 2 milldots:D:D

I felt a bid bad taking the win as I had a high handicap, but I was then fine about it 2 milliseconds later

    Gary
