Thanks Dave for your hospitality, realy enjoyed myself today and a nice day at Cosford. A very well done to Dave 'The communist' Hunter for some great shooting.

Thanks to Mrs Cosford for the catering, lovely very well done bacon sarnies and brew's :).

Im sure youll go from strength to strength Dave, its all a (steep) learning experiance :D, it's not easy putting on an HFT comp on so well done mate.

Really enjoyed the course. Some very interesting positionals, most of them kneeling :D:D:rolleyes:which was great practice for the worlds :)

Cosford is a great club and Dave and his wife are very friendly and eager to please.

The HFT area is a gem and according to Dave we haven't seen half of it yet.:)

I really encourage any lads who live locally to support the Cosford open. You won't be disappointed. The on site chef makes a lovely bacon sandwich.:D:D

It's a distance to travel from Huddersfield but would love to shoot at 'Cossy" again:)

Well done Dave "the kneeler" hunter for his 59. Great shooting.:shot:

Thanks to Mick for his company on his first HFT comp.

Also a big congratulations to Mark 'Lanky" Crossland for getting all his 15mm kills, even the 6 yarder.:D:D

I have just said to Dave the organiser to schedule the next one so it doesn't clash with Kibby. Should get a fair few more shooters then.:D

Good start Dave, a good course in a setting with lots of potential. Nicely situated just off the m1 and m6.
Thanks Chris for putting up with me and my daughter, poor lass, i'll get her shooting soon although she's is still dreaming of becoming a show jumper.
Good to see you all again after so long. Good luck to you all at the worlds.

It doesn't clash with a Kibby shoot or UK's so would be a good choice methinks Dave :)

Sounds ok, for info you may allready be aware but there is a calender of Kibby and other midland shoots Here - http://kibworthhft.weebly.com/calendar.html,

Alternating Weekends with Kibby (Open & Marksman) may make sence as you go through the year, It will mean we may have a HFT shoot most weekends in the area :D

Kibby has their Open shoot on the Sat 26th May, so we will both have to hope that people are willing to shoot on both days,

I better hope she is in a good mood that weekend, the whole idea of taking up HFT over archery was less time out of the house

Wishful thinking that mate. Shooting ends up taking up more time :D:D
