Well done on the shoot all, all the targets seemed to be a stiff test, yet the course was very enjoyable. Nice to catch up with Dale and to shoot around to Trevor. Well done to him and Helen for some top shooting, especially after all the hard work H put in at Bisley the day before.

Also well done to Steve Franklin for laying down the challenge early on... it took digging deep to match it, and I was never assured until off the course. The bevy of long shots, small reducers and testing kneelers meant every target could be missed with ease, yet none of them felt like a lottery.

Thanks to all who made the long trek down the A30 to deepest Cornwall.
Pleased everybody seemed to enjoy the day, congratulations to Rob and Steve on excellent scores and to Jimmer who won the piston class with a score that a lot of the PCP shooters would have been happy with.
    Cheers
    Keith.

This was a good course. Out of 40 targets there was only one that you would call a gimme, 31 yards full size kill and mostly sheltered from any wind.

It started with an inch kill slightly downhill at about 37 yards from memory, and I recall Simon saying to me, are you allowed inch kills at over 35 yards? He hit it and then missed the next two targets on the same lane, I missed it and the second target, retrieving one hit on the first lane and we both went to lane 2 with 2 off already. Does wonders for the confidence. :D

I really enjoyed the course, some nice challenging targets and goes to show a course does not have to be long to be challenging.... am pleased... no thrilled to have been able to rise to the challenge and get 31 so win B grade.... I only have to find 4 more targets and Im level with you Rob... best watch out..... :)
