    Claret Cup 16/09/12

Good weather greeted all the happy shooters today .
Just for a change the wind was not as bad as it had been recently , and this was backed up by some very good scores today.
Tom Morgans proved that he is still a master on the course .
Young Alex continues to improve his scores every time we shoot.
First timers today Warren & Tom had good scores.
As always , Johnny Smith set a course to challenge the best of us , catching lots of guys out , range finding & wind estimation ...... A sure way to destroy ones confidence .
    Well done all .

I really enjoyed today's shoot. I rather like shooting in the wind, it adds an interesting aspect to an already challenging shot.

First doughnut free round so that was good, now need to work out why I scored better on the targets out in the wind rather than in the trees.

I know I was shooting a springer Ian, but you didn't have to pretend you were shooting one too ;)

Top shooting by Mr Morgans - in a class of his own today :shot:
