    Hi :)

I want to buy my partner a chronograph for Christmas.
I was told that there is a one shot and a ten shot ?? Can anyone please tell me which one I should buy.
It would be for use with an air rifle.

    Thank you

No idea what you mean by 1 or 10 shot, you can put as many through a chrono as you need.

Depends what its wanted for, if for rarely checking those Combro CB625 are ok if it can be attached to the muzzle.
Better but fixed the Competition Electronics Prochrono either standard or Digital offering outputs and add ons bringing price past the best available the CED below.
Best is the CED Millenium M2 but may need Infra Red and battery setup then it becomes expensive and what i use.

The SKAN can be operated in two modes, continuous which is basically each shot is a single shot, or in a ten shot mode where it remembers ten results and can give you averages etc. I've never found that to be a useful facility; it only takes one shot to go over to be illegal, so I write down all the numbers then drop them into an excel spreadsheet that not only tells me the average but predicts the probability of one future rogue shot going over the limit, even if one of the test ones didn't.

Most Club/s / Police & Home Office use Variants of Skan's

CB's are great but there is a shortage due to production problems

Thank you for the replies, when I asked in the gun shop I was getting confused, as he was talking about one shot and ten shots.
At least now I have some information to establish what I need.

    Thanks again everyone :)
