Hi, can anyone at Nelson confirm that they are having their christmas shoot on 30-12-10, as I need to make sure I am off for that date. Thanks Peter.

    Confirmation

    Pete,

We will be having a chat with the lads tonight up the club and will confirm after that.

We can finalise the details of what set up were going to do as well...

    Right then

To anyone who is interested, this shoot will be ON.

We had a chat up the club and agreed this will be on unless we have bad weather that would cause issues for people to get to the ground.

We are looking at a 30 shot ft course and a 20 shot hft course.

FT run to BFTA rules and the HFT to be run by UKAHFT rules.

£3 per round for non members and £1 per round for club members.

The snooker comp will also be running at £1 a go with 50p going to the club and the other 50p going to the pot for the winner.

There will be a £5 prize to the top hft score and same for top ft score. These will eb to non-members who take part (so i cant take the money for the ft course haahaa). Same goes for the snooker, the highest score from a non-member wins the pot.

If people wish to shoot ft and the hft course then they can and vice versa. It all makes for good practice.

If you want to shoot either ft or hft then let the person at stats know so they can place you in the right place for the scores etc.

Hope that covers everything for now...

    Should be

    Simon,

Dependent on weather obviously then yes we will be setting the course up on the Wednesday.

Should be fun, the ground looked stunning on Sunday in all the snow. We were also having a look at the ground for the Summer for when we got another big shoot on. Just a bit of planning for the future...

Ok, message passed on to all Tondu Commandoes. Not sure how many are working. All being well, I may be able to pop up for a couple of hours Wednesday to help set up, depends how knackered I am after Tuesdays wedding?

Looking forward to shooting both again, twice lol!

    Why not

Looking forward to shooting both again, twice lol![/QUOTE]

    Simon,

It would be rude not to wouldnt it.

Technically there will be 50 shots to shoot at.

3 targets per lane on the FT course and thinking of 2 shots per lane for the HFT. So 20 lanes in total then combined.

£3 a round Simon is good value really fella...

    Update on ground

It is sad to say this,

The ground is still heavy under snow sadly, the lads went up the ground earlier and confirmed that it is still bad up there.

It is with regret that we are calling off the shoot.

We will be looking to sort out another date soon to get everyone up the club for a fun shoot...

    Wednesday

    Simon,

I will be there Wednesday myself.

Looking at the weather now as it is raining quite heavily, might have a look at putting a course out on the ground depends what the ground is like though...

    20 shot course out

There is a short course out for the lads who want to come over.

For non-members it will be £2 a round plus we can put out the snooker if you like as a bit of fun to shoot.

Ground isnt too bad little soft under foot in patches but ok for shooting.
