I just received news that staunch Daystate supporter Gary Chillingworth is to shoot Steyr for the 2011 UKAHFT season!! So my question to the esteemed members of STB and fellow UKAHFT shooters is...Is anyone else planning to bring down a manufacturers team by changing your brand allegiance??

I have a daystate and a Steyr and have to say may the best gun prove herself over the winter, either way neither team will have any help from me not with my current lack of talent anyway.

First comp with the Steyr today at sunny Kibworth, very windy conditions and missed the first 2 long targets as I gave them to much wind.

However, I am happy with the 55 and I think the new beast is a keeper.

    Team Steyr, here we come

Yep Gary, 55 was a great score on that course and with the cold wind switching every few seconds.

    Cheers Ryan,

No, LV comps don't count. Today was the first day out with the gun properly zeroed and set up, I must admit I was pleasantly surprised.

Just watch me crash and burn tomorrow

Well, I changed just before the worlds last year to daystate, but after shooting my Steyr again today after a eight month lay off and a new scope and stock and stabiliser bolt I managed a 51 guessing a few aim points, so I maybe just coming back to Steyr, i'm in love again.
