Posting on behalf of Sam Oultram (Junior)

Sam has been selected to represent his local Air Cadets in the Merseyside Inter Squadron shoot. Unfortunately this clashes with the Bisley round.
If Sam gets through the Merseyside round he's in the Nationals. He feels bad about letting his club and UKAHFT down but he may only get the one chance.

Well hes got to grab while he can

How can he feel that hes letting anyone down. He has been chosen especialy to shoot where as they let anyone shoot the ukahft. :D

Bisley will still be here and if he gets a chance to visit we will be sure to make it a warm welcome.

Wish him good luck from all at Bisley

I told Sam that people would think that way but he really was concerned.

The young lads doing well and the chance to represent his Squadron should not be passed up. He shot really well in the first round of the Gauntlet (48 ex 50) last Sunday and was looking forward to Bisley. He didn't find out until today that he had made selection.

I'll pass on your good wishes :)

I'm always really pleased when any of our youngsters does well. We have some excellent young shooters at the moment and hopefully they will just get better.

I think every area thinks the same way as I've seen nothing but encouragement for any of the young shooters. That's how it should be.

It's also worth saying that usually the young shooters are also a credit to our sport.
