Hello people just wanted to check the score I got yesterday as I was marked down as 52 on the net but I scored 53 on the day, and obviously scoring 53 was gold badge which I bought. There maybe a genuine reason why that is, or that it is a mistake. Would just like to know as I don't want to falsely take a gold badge thanks luke davies

Your Score was downgraded from a 53 to a 52 due to an unsigned alteration on Target 17, Pete Sparkes has just sent me a picture of the card & I would have downgraded it had I been checking the cards

I can vouch for him, our pen was running out. Any corrections that where made we went straight to a marshall, you can see this on my card with the signature, I'm sure you will also see the ink running out on my card also.

    Many thanks.

Haha fair play Don but I ain't that fussed it's the only round I've shot. I know what I scored so that's all that matters. I'd be upset if I done every round .! Suppose it's gotta be like that when it's that competitive!

No it wasnt one where the pen was running out, those were deemed as 2's, its a 2 comprising of three definite stokes with the vertical at the exact angle of your other 1's. If you send me you email address i can send you the picture

99% of the alterations we make are nothing to do with people trying to improve their scores its usually down to the scorer being careless which is why the shooter needs to check their card and ensure any dodgy writing is signed off by a marshal.

I understand why the rules are in place, it's a very competitive level that I'm not used to.

I'm new to the UKAHFT courses and thoroughly enjoying myself... Yet again a fantastic and tricky course set out at buxted and a credit to the guys that done it, just wish I could have done better myself but never mind hopefully things will be sorted for next time.

Well done Luke on your first attempt.
