Just a quick question lads,i recently got an Air Arms s400 classic ,now I want to fit an adjustable butt pad but there are no fixing screws visible on the original pad .Is it held on by some sort of adhesive or some other sort of fixing.

the butt pad is made of two parts the harder plastic is screwed on the the stock with 2 screws then the rubber part is glued on to it, if your not to worried about keeping the original pad. if you feel the rear of the pad you'll find 2 soft parts about 20mm from the top and bottom of the rear surface of the pad on the central line. You can push a possi drive screwdriver through the rubber and unscrew the whole thing from the stock.
    hope this helps

Look at the end of the butt pad and you will see two plugs sometimes very hard to see, the screws are behind the plug, you will then need to force a screwdriver into the plug making a small hole so you can unscrew the screws. dont try to remove the scews from the pad leave them in till you need to refit it.

    Hope that helps
