Does anyone no if there is sidewheel for a Bushnell elite scope or if someone makes one
On this side of the pond...
Scope-Werks - Bushnell 6500 80mm Wheel
many thanks will be contacting them tomorrow
Hi Tony not sure which thread I have shark fin to fit the Bushnell, check out which thread I put up you should see it, cannot remember measurements from center of wheel to outside end of fin if you interested I’ll let you know when I get back home on Thursday night cheers
If you have a picture of it looking for aluminium colour either way if you got a picture looking to put on my Steyr and also get aluminium one for big Nikko
You can also use something like this

The sidewheel cap on the 6500 is very thin, so it is easy for it to collapse onto the non-turning collar if A grubscrewed sidewheel is used. It is also only held by two very small brass screws, so it can develop play - as I found out using a traditional overfit sidewheel.
Jon Harris removed the small sidewheel and fitted a collet on the inner spindle, making a very secure clamping system for me. Worked a treat. Try contacting him.
Thank you for your advice will contact Jon Harris don’t suppose you can remember how much it cost I am wondering if it worth doing paid £650 for scope few years back it’s given me good service
IIRC it cost me about £70. I sent him the scope as he had not done one before.
That ain’t to bad does he make scope wheels
.... and a bit more besides.
Hi did contact Jon Harris but he has said he has lost all measurements to do this scope I did offer to send scope but got no reply I believe he is in great demand can I ask you to take the parralax wheel of would the screw be under the Bushnell sticker on existing wheel
Sorry, can't help with the measurements Tony - I don't have the scope any more.
Thanks for your reply i might of wrote my question wrong what I was asking to take parallax wheel of do you remove the Bushnell b sticker on parallax wheel I wasn’t asking you to take your own parallax wheel of cheers anyway
Hi Tony, apologies. Yes, the sticker comes off. There are a couple of very small screws underneath holding on the original small parallax wheel, which is why a large wheel works loose. Once the screws are removed you can take the parallax wheel off to access the spindle that drives the focus mechanism.
Many thanks for your reply I had my suspicions it was under that’bushnell sticker
take a look here - Scope-Werks - Bushnell
I did look on this site at there scope wheels but some of the other members seem to fill that putting a grub screw sidewheel on exsisting side wheel could deform exsisting sidewheel but thanks anyway
i have gone for a rowan engineering side wheel hopefully going to take of existing parallax wheel and have a new knob made so the new wheel doesn't crush it
