As above the cross hairs collapsed on my RA today, can just see a few bits of what like wire hanging down what to do and who? not sure the warranty is still valid as i'ts been customised by Hydrographics.

By customised do you mean the ret was done by them ?
If so would they be able to sort it.
If the customisation is external ie cosmetic your warranty will prob still stand as they have a lifetime warranty. I had burris put a ballistic mildot in one of mine €60 if i recall right.

Thanks i'ts cosmetic mod. I have been in touch with Burris and they say that cosmetic dipping does not void the warranty so will be sending it back to the States for repair, I have an idea at the back of my mind that Dave Welham used to do certain scope repairs years ago.

    Burris repair

Recently sent a fixed 10mag scope for a windage turret repair to them. They had it for 4 months:eek:. So be prepared to be without your scope for a while.

There used to be a Burris service center in Finland some years ago I seem to remember the postage cost then was 16 euros, anyone remember? it was someone from N Yorkshire who had sent a scope and told me.

I would have thought that an email to Burris would sort this out. They should be able to inform you as to where it needs to be sent.

Had already spoken to Burris and arranged already earlier this week and arranged to send it back to them, the other way is to send to GMK who then send on to Burris which will cost more in postage and time quicker to sent direct to USA.

I'm in a similar situation. One of my scopes is going back for a change in reticle.
GMK replied to my email quoting £150 each way for packing and delivery. I don't think they are interested, do you:). Also not a good way to treat potential customers as if they are a brick short of a BBQ.
I'm just waiting for Burris to get back with prices - all I've had so far is an automated response to fill in a repair/service request.

Update I found a man in Southampton who fitted a new ret for £40 plus postage turned it around in a week lovely job, I believe members on this forum have used him in the past.
