BKL Mounts

    Thinking of buying some. Is the extra cash involved with buying the double strap rather than the cheaper single strap worth it on a PCP.

    Well the thing that swung it for me was a video that I saw on YouTube, where the presenter discussed the differences between a standard mount and a BKL mount.

    For me it's all down to the way that the dovetail clamp behaves as it's tightened. On the BKL, you have a better chance of the scope alignment remaining true as the clamp is tightened.

    Just watch that the BKL mounts require an imperial allen key, and that they are VERY easy to overtighten and strip the thread...

    Thanks for that pal. Gone mad and ordered 3 sets :eek:.
    Found that the cheapest is from Mike Tawn, get 'em from him via e-bay and they work out even cheaper ;).
