At Shebbear we've been very pleased with the way NSRA has responded to any queries. We've had professional advice on how to improve some of our paperwork, which we thought was already pretty robust, and had been given a thumbs up by the local firearms team. One improvement I would like to see; at the moment the insurance cover is divided into shooting and non-shooting equipment, and there is a fixed amount of cover (unless you pay more) in each section and any unused allowance cannot be transferred across. The dividing line suits rimfire clubs but is not ideal in my view for FT clubs. We don't have lots of money tied up in ammunition on site, but we have a lot of money in targets. About 80 knockover targets have a replacement cost about £2k and that's most of the cover already gone.
