An alternative date has been proposed for the Masters/Showdown weekend. This will be discussed at regional level and assuming this is generally accepted, the new date will be ratified in January.

    Chairman - Jonathan Noon
    Secretary - Phil Gee
    Treasurer - Andrew Slade
    Comp Manager - Shaun Shore
    Grading Officer - Karl Clarke
other positions to stay as they are, a couple to be ratified in January.

Some proposals for GP rule changes to be discussed at regional level and if agreed ratified in January.

The meeting did go well today has to be said.

Simon we need to talk tomorrow about the Club Team Championships as previously discussed. It appears this will be going ahead.

It will have to be run along side the GP series Constructors etc. Simon, we spoke about points system etc previously this was all agreed to for 2011 season. Hopefully you will be in Nelson tomorrow for us to have this chat!!!!!

There is a fair bit of organising to do to get this going for all the clubs to be involved.

    15mm kill zones

    Holly,

I like your enthusiasm but 15mm kills are only coming in for sitting fella.

I like the idea of maybe 25mm kills on close kneelers though.

The Worlds have 25mm kill standers but that is the Worlds. I feel maybe local club comps could look at setting courses to practice for the Worlds?

    reduced kills

With that 80 mag march they'll look full size for you anyway berty.;)
What distance do you think the 15mm kills will max at 25-30yds?

    Kill distance

    Simon,

The maximum I put forward was 25 yards this is a fair distance to see how it goes.

    Chris,

With regards to 15mm kill targets, I cant see how people can call them for splitting, at that distance its either a hit or a miss. Ive never seen any problems with 15mm kill targets before??

That sounds a sensible distance kill zone +10yds for a sitting target in a similar vein for the 25mm kills (max 35yd) . I would rather there be a gradual introduction of new rules so that then we all know and understand it rather than get confused with a mass of changes.

As with regards splittting 15mm kills are just over 3 pellets width, the HFT lot have been using them for a couple of years now with no major problems as far as I am aware off.

Maybe if the stander Had been at 30 yards chris you might have hit it unless you have put all your weights back on your gun.Mr P
