Really, really enjoyed yesterday, thanks to everyone at Newbury.

I shot with Andy C, in the lane in front of James O, a perfect opportunity to watch and learn, to see just what it is that they do that I don't/can't............. I think it has something to do with the little round bit in the middle of the targets........:D:D

    Well done James.

    Alan.

    Cheers Rob,

I think I know which had you sniggering, not sure about the comp entry. I am however holding one back from the weekend for the competition.

Rob, I didn't even realise you'd taken that photo of me.

After a short conversation with Sarah on the firing line, I think I might put the Big Nikko on that gun. While I love being able to tell 25 feet from 8 yards with the Deben, I find the Nikko snaps better on the longer shots, and that's where I seemed to be going wrong all morning.

Aside from showing how delightfully thin my hair is getting, it's nice to see myself in action with the "new" rifle - may I please steal the photo for my own use? Screen res is enough for my purposes, so don't worry about sending the original file.

    Thanks!

    Thanks, Rob.

Of course you may. You had a quick peek at Otmoor when I first got the gun IIRC, but you didn't do anything fancy like adjusting it. It's very nice, but I'm so used to my old scope that it may be relegated to a spare for when the top turret finally disintegrates on the Nikko (they all seemed to be doing it at the Inter-Regionals!).
