I guess the 2015 gp booking in will start in about a months time or so.

Just wondered what people generally thaught about partners in a Gp ?

    i.e
I know some AA shooters who only like to shot with other AA grade shooters.
I know some AA wo like to shoot with lower grades.

some like myself don't mind what grade partner we have, but do like shooting with people we have not shot with before if possible

So I thaught I would see if there was any particular theme to peoples "wants", or is it the easy one for the boys in the backroom, I don't mind who i shoot with?

I personally think its a good thing to shoot with different graded shooters ,for me if I'm shooting with a AA shooter,it seems to bring the best out of me.
But I'm more than happy to shoot with any grade, either to offer advise or receive it.
And it's good for lower grade shooters to maybe pick up some tips while watching shooter at the top end of the sport.

Interesting Chris, when I was in lower grades I did not like to shoot with AA, I liked to be with those of my own grade, so I had someone hopefully my score would be near.

I don't mind who I shoot with but someone above usually brings the best out of me.

It seems we are fairly happy to shoot with a mix of grades /given choices which usually depend on some other criteria which is "randomly" good news.

Yup, not a problem , and lead by example, like I don't do illegal kneelers I take them all standing, I don't use an over sized dog bed , and I also hand my card in ( even when it pants (which is most of the time) )

You must have a small dog! Handing your Card in, oh that's hilarious! But not against the rules in curtain circumstances;)! And if it were, a shooter would be disqualified, which would achieve "not handing your card in" lol

    How's it done now?

    Mr Wizard
How is lane and partner selection done now?
Is it a computer generated thing or is it just a case of i'll put him with her and start them on the standers.
I do like the idea of shooting with different people ,but sometimes it can be hard to focus if your partner is having a mare.
