I was hoping to sign up for the European Championships but before I do I wanted to get opinions on whether I should or not?

I'm certainly not going to place unless you call 150/150 placing! so if I sign up am I likely to be depriving a better shooter of a place? I was of the opinion that if I signup and they don't then their loss but probably not the best attitude to have

Is it usually oversubscribed and will I be cursed out if I do sign up?

If you want to shoot it then shoot it as you say booking is open for everyone.

    Mike,

It hasn't been oversubscribed for a few years so have a go.

Whilst the event caters for the best there is plenty of shooters there who enjoy the shoot and have access to an excellent Game fair

I'm going for the experience and not likely to finish anywhere near the leaders..... Unless I sabotage them all, maybe a little lax in the tea lol

as its a BFTA event, i was under the impression that a BFTA card holder could not be turned away. this situation has happened in GPs when over subscribed.

advise for you, if you want it, do it. two words you dont want to say at the end of your life, and they are "What If" add the rest to complete.

Get yourself booked in, me and the lads will put 2 cracking FT courses out. It's a great experience if you've not done it before.

life is just a short Holiday!

Speaking from my little experience, the first shoot I did was the bfta championships, and the same year I did some gps and the Europeans. I loved them all.the courses I knew they were the hardest i would get to shoot which is great because then I knew I could shoot any course. Its like jumping in the deep end I knew the least I could do was doggy padel. Everyone is friendly and how often can you compete against such people. This year will be my third , as in the title life is just a short holiday,as we are not here to stay.just enjoy ;-) hope to see you there

The Lower Orders at the euros , shoot in the afternoon first day and morning second day . that way you will not find yourself shooting with a Superman and being discouraged by his superb score , or not . ??? HOLLY:):D

Just a reminder that the EFTA will be using this comp as a ranking for places next year in the worlds... Which given it's european hosting will no doubt prove popular again.
