Well, it looks like the Midland Game Fair's course is up to it's usual tricks. This year it's a tricky little breeze, switching left to right... not much needed outside, but it's needed on the right side.

Mike Williams has set the pace with a course clearance in the morning session... but the pressure isn't off... there's a bevy of shooters sitting on 1-2 targets behind.

    All to play for.

Thanks to ChrisJ for the report :) Results from the 1st day below, thanks to NealeM :)

Fair comment there, couldnt call it wind there was a little breeze at times right to left but often straight down the middle or edge. Couldnt see pellet strikes early on even at 35 yards, then the sun came out from behind as expected.
Afternoon shooters may have had a little more breeze left to right but had the best of the lighting.

To be honest i expected 4 or 5 clearances followed with numerous 1 and 2's, well done Mike shot round with his dad.

Not long back from a brilliant weekend of shooting, wandering about talking about shooting with people I've known for a bit and people I met for the first time! Looking forward to next year already.:)

Well done Mike on a comprehensive win.

Awesome shoot. Not competed in this event for a few years but really enjoyed it.

Thanks to all who put in the hard work, all who took part (especially those who travelled from abroad) and to Ian of Countryman Fairs, he has helped the sport a tremendous amount.

Well done Mike, fine shooting under pressure.

    Cheers Chris

ps Mr Stoddart, I will have my revenge in the Winter!!!!!
