The best attended Champs for many a year (121).

Many thanks to Redfearn club for providing 2 excellent days shooting. I really enjoyed working in the cabin, drinking tea and eating Beryl's marvelous selection of cakes.

Congratulations to Conor for his win.

Congratulations to the MFTA for winning the Inters.

Many thanks to all those that were involved.

    Here are the results BFTA

Cheers Shaun, great course and day out. Amazing that 50% of the field dropped less than 11!!! One note tho for future events, please let Trev do the raffle so us new starters at least stand a chance of winning someat! :)

Thanks to redfearns and all those behind the scenes that never even fired a shot. Top weekend, most enjoyable. Great start to the season. Plenty of smiles all around even gilly managed one despite the courses driving most to despair. :)

As above thanks to Redferns for the two days. I didn't have quite the return to shooting I hoped for after my short lay off :( a poor day one and a personal worse ever today, no matter what I did it was wrong :eek:o very frustrating. Nice to shoot with Hollys mate Dave Croucher. Roll on GP1 it can only get better (hopefully)

Sue I used to shoot over the arm. I used a sporting elbow support similar to wot paul yates has showed you, But I added a lot more support, hard to explain on here but I am a tailor so pretty easy for me to do, Having looked at the marks on your arm, I would say your resting your gun in the wrong place, it should be resting on the crook of your arm and not the forearm, il see you at the greyhound at some point and explain more then:)

    Thanks

Just like to thank Shaun and all the folk at Redfearns who gave up their time to host the event.:)

Nice to see the kneeling lanes being marshaled so keenly on the Saturday. Be good if this carries forward into all the GP`s.

    MFTA Success.

Congratulations to the MFTA team on a great result in winning the Inter Regional competition.

The result is a superb response following last years disappointment.

It was a great team effort from all involved.

Yes, congrats to MFTA... it was clear after a few sessions that it was the region putting in the consistent 30 averages which other regions were not quite keeping up pace with despite a few big scores here and there.

I'm quite proud of my region's team, travelling a long way was a new experience for some as well as some representing the region for the first time, and under those conditions I think our position belies the effort involved. Nice to see the SEFTA/CSFTA rivalry continue after another tight battle. :)
