I've posted this on another forum also as I reckon there is a different audience on here and I'd like to here both lots of opinions.

There are too many scopes to try, so I'm trying to narrow the field, looking at a new price of around £4/500 and a mag of around 16-30, must be side focus but not concerned about 1" or 30mm as either would do, also not overly fussed about the objective size but want variable mag.

What have you found best for general AIR GUN use out to around 60m, and it will go on a PCP. It won't be used much on the way of range finding, so not an FT scope, I have a few of those.

Bushnell, Vortex, Hawke, C More and many others are all regarded as very good - how have you found them and other similar ones?

Thanks, I know it's personal but I have to start somewhere.

I'll second the Airmax, I have one on my AGT Vulcan which was used for hunting, brilliant scope for the money. Regularly come up for sale second hand as well at good prices.

As long as it's not a single dot then very flexible, I like to have mil dots/hashes/SCB kind of thing for holdover etc.
