I prefer fixed mag scopes. However been thinking a 3-9x40 AO would be worth a try. Any reccomendations out there? I know its cheap ,but i have a fixed 6x40 non AO mountmaster on my .25 and its a good little scope. I have an EB on my Prosport and would like a decent 3-9x40AO for my TX200. Like to try it at 9x,possibly for hft. Im still hoping to enter a few comps next year. I say that every year, got to make the effort though, luv my shooting.

Whenever i pick up a rifle without a scope fitted, it always feels well balanced and fairly light. Thats another reason to fit a lightweight scope. The Hawk is worth a look.
