How often do you 800x shooters clean your barrels and generally does it effect your zero's?

If I shoot Friday Saturday and Sunday then I clean it before I go on Friday. My barrel needs a few pellets after a clean to lead back up to tighten the groups back up. The barrels on a fwb are alot more forgiving than a Steyr barrel I had to clean that before each shoot. Just a couple of Napier pull throughs is all I use.

Thank you very much, I clean my Walther's barrel every 100 shots but wasn't sure about the 800.

    REALLY?

I clean mine about every 1000. And even then it's showing no signs of needing a clean.

I've found that recently nothing is coming out dirt wise from the barrel which was concerning. Maybe I'm cleaning it too often?

Maybe your not seeing any dirt, because there isn't any.

I have cleaned my Walther twice since getting it this summer. Once when I first got it and again a couple of months ago when the accuracy went.

Since the last cleaning I have shot at least 750 pellet through it, and at present accuracy is still spot on.

WIth my 800FT Basic I general clean about every half tin and the swabs are black first pull although it takes nearer a whole tin before the fliers start to be a problem. JSB Exact pellets washed and lubed with LT1.

Clean mine once a week, back on song after 10 shots.
