Hello knowledgable people of STB, anyone got any ideas where I can source a barrel blank from, preferably a mega barrel. It's going to either replace or be a spare barrel for my LG300, next dilema, any ideas who could machine the blank should I source a good one, they don't look massiveley difficult to machine but then again that isn't my forte.

    Cheers for looking :)

next question..... what's the boards current perception on polygon barrels? i know it must vary from barrel to barrel etc. but was wondering if anyone had any experiences with them?

Never had any experience of poly barrels beyond people saying they used to have one, or have one laying around, if that tells you anything... never shot one myself.

Done a bit of research and it seems that polygon barrels are possibly better suited to higher velocities. Centre fire boys seem to rate them.

Might be worth chatting to Ben taylor if you can get hold of him, think he was playing with some a while ago. Be good to see you back.
