Just a quick heads up to any FT and possibly HFT shooters out there looking for a nice comfy, warm pair of trousers for winter comps.

Aldi's are selling Soft Shell trousers for £17.99 and they're spot on!.. I've bought 3 pairs of them and they're excellent.

Warm, stretchy, shaped knees with extra protection for kneelers - windproof, breathable and waterproof to a hydrostatic head of 2000mm and zipped pockets.

They went on sale yesterday (1st December) so if you fancy a pair get down there quick before they're all snapped up.

    They're ideal for FT.

Oh they have an internal gaitor on each leg, but I've cut that.

for the really cold weather I bought a pair of ski trousers from Asda, nothing special just black triple lined jobs with bellows to keep the wind out!

Same here got mine from mountain warehouse, they were on sale with a further 20% off all ski wear so they only finished up costing me 15 quid. Well toasty, I think it will have to get quite a bit colder before I start wearing them.

I'm just scared of seeing you in a gimp suit mate :D

I also don't have a gun at the moment... I got my trousers for horse riding, they work well for that too - nice and stretchy.
