Mark and "all" the Avon Hawks club should give them selves a pat on the back for a very good and well run shoot today. The targets were very well numbered and laid out perfectly. I heard HFT guys saying the same.
The wind was very tricky so scores were reflected on that.
    Again thanks to all.

My thanks to Mark, Simon, Christine and ALL the Avon Hawks crew that put on a splendid competition today.

The course was very well thought out and you can tell that a great deal of hard work and effort had been put into it. Well Done to all and thank you. :)

I found it very enjoyable :) but perhaps next time, just turn the wind machine down a tad as with the very strong and gusty wind it was totally impossible to read at times. :eek:o

A great day was had by all

Thanks to Avon Hawks members who put on this superb and very testing Ft shoot for todays shoot.

Very well planned course, wind that switched constantly meant you had to read it right up to the second the shot was released. Good mix of ranges where even 35 yarders took you well out of kill. Some nice new angles on the course made you think about every shot.
not had scores as yet but in the unofficial Wafta v Swefta the taffies recon they won?

This would make a Great SWEFTA GP venue for 2015 and test the best under todays conditions.

Some pics of the day, which did not start well for me

Arms dealer was ranging up his first target when a small earthquake happened

As you can he is full of sympaphy as he sees me flat on my back, legs kicking the air. you can just see my foot flayling on the left edge of the photo. If the lens had been wide enough this would have been one of the funniest photos I have ever taken lol. About half way through the course my back started aching from the impact and its no better this evening.

I recovered but I recon the fall cost me 3 targets lol

    Missing Scores

If anyone knows the missing score for ryan thone and A.Higgins and which club Mr/Mrs Higgins belongs to?

My initial thaught were the top 1o Wafta shooters would have claimed the unofficial Swefta V wafta title. But, it seems as if Swefta took it by 10 targets? All a bit of fun!
