During a routine prune of inactive members avatars yesterday something went wrong and most members avatars have been deleted. This wasn't intentional and we're looking into why that is.

Unfortunately too much time has passed for us to recover them, so please re-upload any avatar you wish to use, and we'll look into the solution before we run that process again.

    Hello Rob,

Might be wrong, but I thought the previous picture I uploaded for avatar use was resized by the forum software.

Tried using the same picture and got the attached error.

Months, it has taken me months to get around to changing my avatar, ONE day it lasted! Still at least I had a practice so reinstating it wasn't a problem:D

    Rob,
You still have an on going problem, I replaced my avatar picture and it does appear beside my comments, like this one, the correct size BUT in the listings of topics where mine was the last post the avatar is about an quarter of the sizing frame shown.
Thank you for the work you do to keep us "shooting the Breeze"

    Thanks for that.

Nothing has changed with avatars so not sure what’s going on there. Will look when yours next comes up.

Ere Rob, my avtar has just dissapeared, gone it has, done it away on it's toes and all that southern talk.

Conor, you can't ban me for losing an avtar (I think?)

Can’t see any reason why that is or anything on your account change log. Are you sure it didn’t go Awol when the system got over excited and zapped a load 2 weeks ago?

If you want to forward it to me I can fix it. The old version of STB used completely different software.

Hi Rob, mine was there until Sunday, then yesterday, gone? I will try to reload it or a different one if I can't find my old one.

    Thanks,

    Ian
