as per the title, last year very very few manufacturers turned up to the worlds, so i was wondering if we know if any will come this time or not ? i know last year was a pain due to the snow/frost, but i thought id ask..
hey sparky, sorry i meant the show, ie will air arms be showing off the new FTP900 after reading the reviews in the mags im sure a fair few people want to take a look/have a play with it.. along with daystate and all the others of course
Air Arms are putting on a free BBQ on the Sunday for all the shooters and also donating an MPR for the raffle. Not sure who are having stands at the show though Pete
oh nice, thats good of them. i was hoping to have a look & play with the FTP, so hoping they would be coming with a stand, after the publicity they had from the mags they would be crazy not to attend.. thanks for the update sparky.
Having a look at the 'Trade Exhibitors' list on the Kelmarsh page at :http://www.kelmarshcountryshow.co.uk/exhibitors/, I can't see one airgun manufacturer, despite the fact that the page header picture is this, I think, of Ryan C -
Two 'Guns' Pete does it in stereo ! . Shame not more trade are going, especially as its the national and international centre focus of HFT this year. HERX77 .
As long as I can get some Venison sausages , Honey Whiskey and some new boots ... I am happy !!! The sausages last year were the nicest one's I have ever had... I am taking a BIG bundle of cash for loads and loads of them ! And maybe a cool box ! Can't wait LAity
Is there a list anywhere of sponsors for the WHFTA event? I can't see anything on the google site. I was wondering if AIM Fieldsports were coming along this year.
Air arms are supplying a fee BBQ and an MPR, Aim are putting in 2 gun bags and 2 mats and Solware are donating a few things, plus cash prizes. Securing final list before we put it on the website.
manufacturers If their is a bigger air rifle competition or social gathering of air rifle participants I am unaware of it.So why wouldn't the big suppliers / manufacturers of all things air rifle not attend this venue ?
its such a shame none are coming, even brocock are going to be a no-show this year.. so many international teams are coming and none of the uk manufacturers are going to be showing off british engineering.
I think some of the BSA management are going to be coming along (to buy their HFT team lunch with any Luck! ) And to learn more about HFT, meet the people and get a feel for the sport. There are better trade opportunities for them in the uk at dedicated sales/shows. After all, we are all going there to shoot not hunt for a new rifle! I think it is great that some of the British manufacturers are showing an interest in and supporting HFT, it can only be a good thing for the sport and us as users of their products.
